Todoist
Bring your Todoist projects into Daykite lists of your own — new tasks, due dates, priorities and ticks come across within minutes.
Experimental. Integrations are still being tested. They may not run, or may give incomplete or wrong results — check anything important yourself, and tell us what goes wrong.
Connect Todoist and choose which projects come into Daykite. Each one lands in a list of your own and stays in step: new tasks, edits, due dates, priorities and ticks made in Todoist show up in Daykite within about ten minutes.
It needs Tasks switched on in Settings → Modules.
Connect
Integrations → Todoist → Connect Todoist, then Agree on Todoist's screen. Daykite asks for read-only access: it can't add, change or delete anything in Todoist.
Choose projects
Choose lists on the Todoist card shows your Todoist projects (archived ones are left out). Tick the ones you want, pick a Daykite list for each (or New list named after the project), and Save and import.
What comes across
| In Todoist | In Daykite |
|---|---|
| A new task | A new task in the chosen list, with a link back to Todoist |
| Name, description, due date | Updated to match |
| Priority 1 or 2 (the red and orange flags) | High priority |
| Completed | Marked done; uncompleting it reopens it here |
| Deleted, or moved to another project | Removed from this list |
- Finished tasks aren't brought in when you first connect.
- Due dates are dates. A Todoist due time is kept as its date.
- Moving a task between two projects you import moves it between the matching Daykite lists.
- It's one way for now. Edits you make in Daykite to an imported task are replaced the next time it changes in Todoist. Delete an imported task in Daykite and it stays deleted here.
Disconnect
Disconnect on the Todoist card removes Daykite's access at Todoist straight away. Tasks already brought in stay in Daykite.
