Docs › Integrations
GitHub
Issues and pull requests assigned to you, and pull requests waiting for your review, from the repositories you choose.
Experimental. Integrations are still being tested. They may not run, or may give incomplete or wrong results — check anything important yourself, and tell us what goes wrong.
Connect GitHub and choose repositories. Into a Daykite list of your own come:
- Issues and pull requests assigned to you, titled like Issue #42: Crash on save.
- Pull requests waiting for your review, titled like Review PR #77: Add dark mode.
When an issue is closed it's ticked off; when a review's done (or the request is withdrawn), that's ticked off too.
It needs Tasks switched on in Settings → Modules.
Connect
- Integrations → GitHub → Connect GitHub, and Authorize Daykite.
- Add repositories on the GitHub card, and install Daykite on the repositories (or organization) you want. Daykite is a GitHub App: it can only see repositories it's installed on, and only reads issues and pull requests — no code.
- Back on the card, Choose lists and tick repositories.
To add more repositories later, choose Add repositories again.
What comes across
| On GitHub | In Daykite |
|---|---|
| An issue or pull request assigned to you | A task linking to it |
| Its milestone's due date | Due date |
| Closed or merged | Marked done |
| Unassigned from you | Removed from your list |
| A review requested from you | Review PR #…, ticked off once it's no longer waiting on you |
- It's one way. Daykite never comments, labels or changes anything on GitHub.
- GitHub's own review requests from teams (rather than you by name) aren't included.
