QuickBooks and Xero

Unpaid invoices as follow-up tasks that tick themselves off when the money arrives.

Experimental. Integrations are still being tested. They may not run, or may give incomplete or wrong results — check anything important yourself, and tell us what goes wrong.

Connect QuickBooks Online or Xero and every invoice still waiting to be paid becomes a task in a Daykite list you choose — Follow up invoice 1037 · Sonnenschein Family Store, due on the invoice's due date, with the amount owed and a link to the invoice.

  • Overdue invoices come in as high priority.
  • When an invoice is paid (or voided or deleted), its task is ticked off on the next check.
  • Checked every 15 minutes. Daykite never creates, changes or sends invoices.

Because they're ordinary tasks, automations work on them — for example, A task is created → Notify me, or a Send an email step reminding the customer.

QuickBooks Online

Integrations → Finance → QuickBooks → Connect, sign in to Intuit and choose the company. Then pick the Daykite list the invoices go into.

One connection is one QuickBooks company. To follow another company, connect again and choose it.

Xero

Integrations → Finance → Xero → Connect, sign in to Xero and tick the organisations to share. Each organisation appears as its own list to import — Demo Company (NZ) · unpaid invoices.

Daykite asks Xero only for read-only access to invoices (sales invoices awaiting payment are the ones it uses; bills you owe are left out). Xero asks you to reconnect if Daykite hasn't checked in for 60 days.

Disconnecting

Disconnect on the card revokes Daykite's access at Intuit or Xero. Tasks already imported stay in your list.
