Notion
Bring task databases from Notion into Daykite lists of your own — titles, due dates and done come across within minutes.
Experimental. Integrations are still being tested. They may not run, or may give incomplete or wrong results — check anything important yourself, and tell us what goes wrong.
Connect Notion and choose which task databases come into Daykite. Each lands in a list of your own and stays in step: new rows, renamed rows, due dates and finished rows show up in Daykite within about ten minutes.
It needs Tasks switched on in Settings → Modules.
Connect
Integrations → Notion → Connect Notion. On Notion's screen, pick the pages or databases Daykite may see — only those, and nothing else in your workspace. To share another database later, open it in Notion → ••• → Connections → Daykite. Daykite only reads; it can't change anything in Notion.
Choose databases
Choose lists on the Notion card shows every database you shared. Tick the ones you want and pick a Daykite list for each (or New list named after it).
How Daykite reads a database
Notion databases don't have a fixed shape, so Daykite looks at each one's properties:
| Daykite needs | It uses |
|---|---|
| The task's name | The database's title property |
| A due date | A date property called Due, Due date, Deadline, Date or When — otherwise the first date property |
| Whether it's done | A Status in the Complete group (like Done), or a checkbox called Done, Complete or Completed |
- Finished rows aren't brought in when you first connect.
- Deleted or archived rows are removed from Daykite at the next check — unless they were already done, in which case they stay, ticked off.
- It's one way for now. Edits you make in Daykite to an imported task are replaced the next time the row changes in Notion.
- Very large databases: Daykite reads up to 2,000 rows per database.
